    And that goes back to my previous question- have they controlled for ALL other variables other than what they are headlining?

    When dealing with the human body, it's not really feasible to determine root cause of anything. We aren't dealing with auto parts, lol. Too many variables person to person.

    People in the Uk as a whole have probably become less homogeneous over time so you have to allow for genetic factors. I was asked once about why cancer seemed to show up in certain areas and did the amount of chemicals and type in that area influence it. I pointed out that you needed to know how genetically diverse the populations was over that time and the presence of cancer in earlier ancestors. After a puzzled look I just said there isn't enough info to draw an accurate conclusion, but many groups wanted to change laws and take your money based on inaccurate conclusions.
