Hey Brad, should I show up Junior with his post of the "Big 3" with some exclusive Tom Mayo fixed blades?

I have seen your Mayo fixed blades , even the shoulder rig you carry one of them in. Needless to say I like them, still mainly a folder person as Brad said.

Well I am partial to the fixed blades. :rockwoot: I own a lot more fixed than I do folders. I trust my fixed blades to get more jobs done than any folder.:rockwoot:

    Get thee behind me, jackals!

So, today I learned of the Pohan Leu Bluephin. I feel a Crail Event is imminent.

He makes some cook stuff, I prefer the overbuilt stuff so this is the next toy I have on order a Skike Custom Knives "Rogue Shark" I will have a cool tiger striped flame job done on the handle but the knife itself is badass with those cool blue bolts being fully forged pieces of titanium and the blade is .220 thick CPM 3V blade steel.

At 20 years old, and a full time college student I don't think he is too concerned about a retirement portfolio.....besides when this country does a Greece, those of us that have mutual funds and investments linked to the government will be the ones without. :)

That's a sweet looking piece of work, sir.

I won't "out" the person who let me know about the Bluephin, but in addition to everything else about it, it's got a Scandi grind. On a folder. That will give me beefy and slicey in the same knife!

One might look at his high end cutlery acquisitions as investments, especially since he takes really good care of them. It's likely that some or all will appreciate more rapidly than conventional investments will grow in today's artificially low interest rate environment and casino-like nature of the markets.

I would hope, however, that diversification is in the future. It would be unfortunate to have all of one's eggs in one basket and have that basket get Crailed. Diversification is the key! Like, maybe he could buy a fixed blade or two.

    HAH! I crack me up.
