As hard as it is for me to imagine, I have gotten to the point where when I have some spare gun money I don't have anything I am looking for.
I still want some new shiny thing though:)

After trying to figure out the next purchase I have decided on one of these and have place my order. Now the wait begins. I bought one that was pre ordered last year so I may see it around October.

Allen build your self a full ramped and supported Super 38....load them to major power factor....it will spit a 125gr at over 1400fps with no change in the size of the grip or weight....people with smaller hands have a little trouble with them:twocents:

btw...we will need pic's when you get it:D

Whoa... $50 for mags! And they're not even H&K!

Site last updated in 2009 - no telling if those are current prices.

I did notice that there's a link for "dealer pricing, click here". Wonder what the dealer price is...

There is a Indiana Coonan dealer and I bought through him. It comes with one mag I bought 2 more. They are $60.00 now

My brother had one of these many years ago and carried it regularly.

That was as stated many years ago, but he indicated after shooting he would regularly see metal shavings in the dustcover. Other than that concern, it functioned very well and definitely drew some attention at the range, etc.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it, as I can't imagine it staying exactly as shipped very long in your hands ;)

That's pretty awesome... look forward to seeing a full review. Is it in spec to a full size 1911? And will 1911 holsters fit it?

I don't think so since under accessories it give a list of companies that make holsters for it.

I think Melensdad posted pics of his next to another 1911, or at least Ive seen it somewhere, and it is noticeably bigger in size.

I can't wait to see the range reviews of this gun. This is the first I have heard of this weapon I'm sad to say because I am a die hard 1911 enthusiast.

I liked this from the FAQ:

Q: Is the Coonan .357 Magnum Automatic hard to shoot? A: See what you think ...here.

If you go to the link you get this:

Basically, he's saying if you think it is too hard to shoot, you're a p@#$!
