My Exit Procedure...

1. Press remote button to close garage door.
2. Remove hand from remote control.
3. Visually confirm door is all the way down.
4. Take foot off brake pedal.
5. Exit Driveway with a smile.

I do all of those things too. That's why this is such a sickness. Even after all of that, I get out of the neighborhood and still think I forgot to lower it. Like I said, I've never come back to find it open. It's a sickness I tell you.

Same here, but it is really because I don't want to leave home. I work at home and often have to drive to another state to the home office.
