How durable is this stuff? Would it still be worth putting on a new firearm with new finish? I'm rough on things. But if its durable enough, I'm so sitting on sum cash and would love a paint job like that on my new XD-9 mom bought me. Turtle! Turtle!

DuraCoat has been around a LONG time. Talk to Cory, He does a lot of this kind of thing and has a lot more first hand experience than most of the rest of us I'd imagine.

A page or two ago DisposableHeart mentioned his XD was coated with some Burgundy DuraCoat
