I believe Michiana was worrying about straw purchases

When he writes "I guess I will have to get someone else to buy for me because it is illegal to sell to me" that is a straw purchase and if I was him I would not be putting something like that up on a public forum. You can go to jail for that. I am trying to help the guy.

The law doesn't make that distinction. It's if you don't answer question 1 truthfully (is this gun for you), the person could be able to buy it or not, they're both straw purchases.

Thats not exactly true because I didn't have to mark question one (no) when I bought a gun for my wife as a gift.

When i was in PSS the other day bob said that this is not true. I asked about lowers and he said that you just have to be 18 for a rifle lower and 21 for a pistol lower.

Disagreements just show we're not all the same. While being personally attacked or reverting to profanity isn't fun for either party, I'm happy the mods and owner are on the very lenient side of things
