    I saw the other thread about how many guns you owned.
    It got me thinking. If you could only own 1 gun what would it be.
    It could be any actual gun.

    12 ga shotgun either a Browning A-5, Beretta extrema or Remington 11/87 or possibly a Drilling double 16 ga over 7mm Mag or .308 but I dont know if they make a .308

    M1 Garand.

    It is the ONLY rifle in the last 70 years fielded by the US that has actually WON one war and kept the US from being tossed into the ocean in another war (Korea).

    Amen. It's a hard choice between the M1 rifle and the 1911. The only tie breaker is, "Your handgun is the weapon used to fight your way back to the rifle you should not have put down to begin with."
