Good news, but I prefer to move SBRs and SBSs to Title I with federal preemption, just to be safe.:D

well since a shorter barrel of 15" (SBR) is more dangerous than a 16" barrel I don't think everyone should be able to own them without paying the government a permission fee of $200.

ok that was a joke in case anyone didn't get it. :):

Let's be clear. The "new" letter indicates that anything done to make the brace more easily used as a stock or unusable as a brace may make it into an NFA item in the ATF's eyes.

Dumb law. Let's get rid of the law so people can stop pretending they want to strap an AR to their forearm.

Ignorant law written to attempt to add a felony to the list of felonies of violent criminals from a bygone past, that has been interpreted by ignorant lawyers whom don't really care about those trying to remain non-felons...

Well obviously the NFA states manufactured and intended or designed or redesigned to be fired from the shoulder. If you pad the rear of your brace or take the strap off the brace you are intending, redesigning and manufacturing an SBR. Don't pad or remove your strap, then there is no case to show any redesign. Don't flood the ATF for more opinions and we'll be fine.

Also NFA workaround devices are great because they normalize things that would otherwise be taboo and when these type of items become more mainstream we may see a leaning toward removing them from the NFA, repealimg hughes etc. Eeven though I see these items as a grey area I love to see them take off and push our rights forward.

According to shockwave's facebook page their brace is legal to shoulder as well, ATF says the LOP mist be under 13.5" and not to use red locktite on set screws

I have been incidentally, sporadically and situationally shouldering my SIG brace, all along. I knew this day would come. :D
