What if you want to be addressed by your hyphenated gender, hyphenated nationality, hyphenated name, and other hyphenated labels all at the same time

"Please refer to me as an african-american demi-queer fox-kin trans-male Georgina von Hammershmidt-Cox"

Nothing happens. Your intended audience's mind wandered halfway through the hyphenation concatenation and they started looking at their phone

Friend of a friend, Corpus Christi Texas. Stuart was from Africa and was a US citizen. As there was a loan program to start a business specifically for African-Americans, he applied for it. Things were going good until he had to go in to finalize some paperwork and be interviewed. Turns out the program was only for Black African-Americans as he was denied because he was white. Go figure.
