I just saw this story, and my heart goes out to all the folks in blue. My prayers for the injured officers follow right along as well. And I'll join in on the thanks to you, Denny--I am very glad to hear your update!

At least the scumbag who caused this mess by unleashing lethal force at police officers got a good ending. I know it's not very wholesome of me, but I always feel better when I read/hear that the criminal trying to kill people gets a fatal case of lead poisoning. No long trials for short time spent in jail, just...done, down, and gone.
