It sounds like she was arguing that the school needed to provide better protection for her son and when they said they already provided adequate protection, she tossed the gun out to make a point. I don't know what she was trying to accomplish, but I'm guessing emotion clouded judgement. She will most likely be charged and lose her ability to own firearms.

Anytime, Mom or NOT, takes a firearm into a school and pulls it, for ANY reason (Other than another Active Shooter), SHOULD be arrested, charged, and convicted of a Felony!

You see the whole sweat pant thingy is because she was just shopping at Walmart.
