I think I will give this one a try. I've always wanted to try USPSA (even if it's not sanctioned) and I think this would get my feet wet. Hopefully I should be able to make it. What approximate ranges will we be shooting at?

The first match targets were different distances, between 7 and 15 yards I think. Second match all were at apx 15 yards. No telling what Coach may cook up this time though!

If you are new to USPSA this is a GREAT way to get your feet wet into the sport.

There will be plenty of "regulars" there to get you acclimated as far as how things work.

Thanks to all the shooters who came out this evening. We had great help with RO's, pasting went very well. Done shooting at 9:30. Two hours will work for the flights. We were a little short on shooters in the second flight. Hope to be full in two weeks. Some of you new shooters need to come on out and get involved. Great trigger time in a comfortable temperature.

Glad I made it. 9 yards made a big difference in the accuracy

Coach _said_ it was 9 yds...but I think he sneaked an extra yard on us. I had to add a click. By the time I figured out I needed the 10-yard setting instead of 9, I was cooked. Always something to mess with us!

(I'm pacing it off next time).

Thanks Coach & Parabellum for a well-run match.

It did end up being 10 yards. I tried to sneak one in on you.

For those who are on the fence about coming out and shooting I know one 15 year old who is not too timid.
