headed to Gov. Mitch Daniels, makes Indiana only the third state with an official gun. Utah became the first in March 2011, when it honored the Browning M1911 automatic pistol, followed in April by Arizona, which chose the Colt Army revolver
only third state to do it. That is awesome. :rockwoot:

Cool! Wish it was somthing a bit more modern but the Grouseland rifle has historical signifigance and thats pretty much the point anyway.

:noway: How symbolic...What, no centerfire caliber rifle?

Give us a break, and approve a centerfire for both the state rifle, and baggin' deer in Indiana!

Should have picked something more available. I believe that the State should choose a State rifle and a State handgun, and THEN see that each and every resident of the State of Indiana is ISSUED ONE OF EACH!

Even more interesting is that it is a specific rifle, not a make, model or type of firearm.

How would you describe that rifle, a Pennsylvania or Kentucky long rifle?
