    No Delay for Me Today

I became the proud owner of a new LCP today from Primative Peddler in Columbus. No delays for me, in and out in about 15-20 minutes.

    I've never had a problem.

The only time I've been held up was when my local gun shop had to order the weapon I wanted and the distributor did not have have it and needed to get it from the manufacturer.

Personally, two weeks sounds kind of bogus to me.

What form did he fill out?...... What waiting list was he put on?

If he filled out the 4473 and was delayed in picking up his firearm, he will have to wait NO MORE than five days!
When you fill out the 4473, there are three possible results! You are either approved, denied, or delayed!
Most people can walk out with their purchase immediately! Some are delayed. The delay can take anywhere from one to five days! No more!
If the NICS people don't call back within five days, he can pick it up!

There is NO "waiting list" for firearm purchases!

Sounds to me like your friend wanted a specific gun, and there is a wait for that weapon from the manufacturer!
