I don't necessarily disagree with you. Keep in mind that if you are found out and expelled, it will be a hard fought battle to find another college that would admit you. Like I said, weigh the pros and cons and go from there.

I happen to have close personal contact with a gentleman who graduated from Ivy Tech and always had a pistol in either his pant pocket or the front pocket of his backpack. It never saw the light of day, but this gentleman felt much better knowing that he would have a fighting chance if some psychopath decided to try a Virgina Tech: Indianapolis Edition.

Maybe also carry a less lethal defensive tool as well, to be used in the event of a mugging or other non-firearm confrontation.
