I have an original. Someone has to be really stupid to pay alot for it because of a "story" or a know person owned it. Doesn't mean it's an more special than a nobody's SR.

I know a lot of "really stupid" people then...Myself included....

Every one is a somebody....and grandpa's old single shot hardware store shotgun wrapped in bailing wire and electrical tape is worth a mint to a grandson....

Simply because of who "owned" it.....and the "story" behind it.....

Wait until you hear what Japanese businessmen pay to get their family's Samurai swords back from the attics of USMC and US Army vets....

    All because of...who owned it.....

A depression era western shirt full of holes recently sold to a casino for $85,000...and we know how stupid casinos are...I
don't see how they can even stay in business...all because of who owned it and the story behind it.....

Go to a small rural auction with a few firearms and no paperwork and try bidding against an Amish gentleman if you want to learn the true value of a Remington 870 12 gauge with two barrels.....and it could have just belonged to Herb Johnston down at the co op.....

good luck and pack your wallet....

It's what some call, "capitalism" or a "free market"...where something is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it...You may have been heard someone say something like "let the market decide"....

One could argue a buttocks is just a buttocks...yet some lap dancers in Indy make more money than other lap dancers in Indy...why??? Isn't a buttocks just a buttocks???? Maybe it's because some buttocks have more value than others???

I think you know what I mean....and if you don't I know some southern Indiana judges can explain it better than I.....

This is the last time that the Dead played in Indy(Deer Creek at the time).
My seat was a bit off-center, but in the 3rd row. Shot on film.
A month later, Jerry G. had died.

Not everyone who enjoyed doses of Dead music was a Hippie. I was in the military by the time some of my friends started going to their shows in the early 70's.

For me, once Jerry died, my fandom did also.

And to stay a little on point, indiucky, I'd love to have that little .22 survival rifle.
However, I bet that it goes for big money !
