I am curious to how long you have worked in one job. I just recently surpassed the 32 year mark at the same job. It's the only full time job I've ever had.

I served in the Army for 10 years. It's most uncommon for anyone to spend that amount of time at one company anymore. Congratulations on 32-years of service.

8 years was my longest employment at any company. Seems I have a knack for picking companies that close or lay off after so long. Sucks being low man on the totem pole.

Congratz to all you "lifers" here! I envy your employment longevity!!

I just finished 33 years at my job. I hope to retire this coming December. All of my ducks are lining up. I turn 62 in Jan.

13 years at my current job. 12 at my previous one. Just odd jobs as a teenager for about 5 years before that. Even my teen jobs were full time or close to it. I'm only 44 and I've been working full time for almost 30 years. :n00b: Seems like I should be able to retire but I've probably got at least another 15 to go! :xmad:

I'm 31 and I've been at the same place since 98. There was some time off for basic training and deployment, but otherwise I've been there for 13 years.

Hmm, this is interesting. I changed jobs frequently. I only stopped when I opened my own business. Been 12 years now but prior to that maybe 3 years was my longest
