    Not really NorthWEST, Indiana, but I hear Neil Keller in Decatur is one of the finest 1911 'smiths anywhere. If I needed any work done, I'd make the call and the drive.

    Thats funny...I was going to recommend Neil, but like you said, LPPOsecurity specified NW In. He built up a Colt Govt. for me a few years ago and have to say its my favorite shooter. Very nice trigger, and his prices are as cheap as a lot of hacks.

    Sweeeeeet piece!!! Next gun I buy will be my first 1911...I haven't decided which way I will be going...either the new Ruger 1911, a Para GI Expert, or the same one you got...hope you like it!

    I agree........shoot it a couple of times and put it away. Older Colts are appreciating very quickly.

    It's a very nice piece but not a collector's item despite one poster's insistence. Colt M1991A1 ORM (Old Roll Mark) models are good, solid pistols. These two below are my 1991 ORMs.
