These idiots keep pushing the go green scam! The USA is sitting on quite possibly the largest reserves of “natural” fuels in the entire world! Solar power cannot and will never power the entire electric grid or even a large part of the grid 24/7/365. Has anyone ever seen a solar panel generate electricity after the sun sets? And what about wind power? What happens when there just happens to be no wind blowing? Are the greenies going to be praying for a hurricane or tornado to make up for no wind after a couple of days?
To prove my point, why is it that Biden and the Dems have quietly started granting oil drilling permits again on Alaska’s North Slope? Why has Biden and the Dems quietly started a scheme to permit off shore oil drilling to resume? The most logical answer that they refuse to admit is that the economy runs on “natural” fuels and will continue to do so for scores and scores of years to come. The greenies and the Democrats just will never, ever admit they were/are dead wrong! In addition, they want to resume fattening their wallets on these fuels. They like the money, simple as that.
Finally, are you going to believe that idiot Dimon at Chase? You remember when the markets crashed because of the mortgage backed securities crisis during which some of the biggest and supposedly smartest companies on Wall Street went belly up or asked the government for help and bail outs?
Stop believing the B.S. being fed to you by the Democrats and Greenies and particularly Biden. Stop being sheeple people. Done, rant over. (But it’s really not a rant! Do some research and you will see through the fog of their B.S.) :bash:

In normal capitalism, CEOs have a fiduciary obligation to their shareholders to maximize the profits. Means shutting up and doing their job.

All this woke crap is against this responsibility. Shareholders should really file lawsuits and take these bastards to the cleaners for dereliction of such duty. If only it were so simple.

If you want electricity to power the baseload for America (and rest of world) while minimizing fossil fuel usage then go nuclear. Anything else is a scam. Nuke provides lots of stable power, doesn’t take up much land, and power plants are much easier to place than wind farms and solar fields. And they safer than coal, or fossil fuel, and probably safer than solar or wind when you get right down to it.

Germany went bassackwards and closed all their nuclear plants, and then proclaimed themselves on the path to greenness. Now they’re going back to coal-fired plants so they don’t freeze to death this winter, because they handed their energy testicles to the Russians, which worked out just great. (Trump tried to warn and help them with this, but no.)

Agree with your sentiments, but respectfully ask that people stop using the term "fossil fuels". Petroleum, coal, and natural gas are "natural" fuels. The earth produces them in copious and unending amounts. There are no fossils involved, and we need to take that dirty word away from the left.

Dimon mentioned pipeline projects. Certainly he's not in favor of oil or gas pipelines, so he must be pushing for a wind pipeline, to capture moving air in windy spots and transport it to turbines built in still areas.
Maybe he wants to build huge electric fans to energize the turbines. Sounds like a bankers solution.

Oh wait, I know, he wants to pipe sunshine, cause his head is all about being places where the sun doesn't shine.

They think the communist/serf system will make them richer and more powerful

They obviously are no students of history

Don't the globalist Davos crowd realize how cold and hungry they will be, in their mountaintop retreats, when we cut all their supply lines.
Oh, and when they eventually come down to refit, we'll still be waiting for them.

    THIS ^^^

And do next gen scaleable plants now for baseload but support Thorium cycle reactor research for an even safer 'generation' of follow-on reactors that create less waste that is less radioactive, can't go critical because when you shut off the neutron source the reactions stop and because there is 5x to 10x the Thorium available as Uranium

Then run Thorium cycle reactors until we get the bugs worked out of controlled fusion, leaving the uranium for military uses

    Can't go critical..

You know, ANY/EVERY reactor producing power is "critical", right?

If a reactor can't go critical, then it can't make any power.

In nuclear reactors, reactor criticality is the state in which a reactor is stable and self-sufficient a nuclear chain reaction. This condition is also known as the critical state, and the reactivity of the system is zero

Is obtaining land to build solar farms and windmills a problem? Lawrence county uses Doxpop to, among other things, allow you to search various government records. It allows you to set up a few automatic searches so you can keep an eye on your property, etc.

Just a few days ago I got a hit because someone near me has my same last name. Their property abuts someone leasing their land to some company to build a solar farm. So, I really doubt land availability is really the concern.
