    Wow... I can't believe I have been missing out on this for so long.

    His ability to take complex notions, such as morality and explain them in such as way that makes perfect sense is astonishing.

    His prose is also very easy reading, like listening to a conversation with a friend.

    I just felt compelled to say something about it. :thumbsup:

    Glad you had the chance to meet Mr. Lewis! He was a wonderful writer and like you said his books are "like listening to a conversation with a friend" You might even be ready to read his biography.

    I LOVE Lewis' writings!

    Mere Christianity (Though not an actual book written by him - more of an amalgamation of thoughts originally presented elsewhere in print / radio) is fantastic.

    I've recently started reading Mere Christianity and plan to read many more of his books. Brilliant writer. I loved his fiction works as a kid, too.
