Ugly and very used. My Dad got me this knife in my early teens for hunting. In the last 40 years or so, I have used it every deer season to field dress and skin my deer. I would guess easily 100 deer with it to date.

Think everyone had one back in the 60’s-70’s. Dont know what happened to it. Mine didn't have the gut hook.

it's on the cheaper side, but for the price point it's pretty decent. They use mostly Nitro-V and D2 on the majority of their models

So Nitro-V is it similar to D2 in performance?

That's probably more about personal preference. The Nitro-V can get really sharp for me.
