He was a disgruntled homosexual in the military. He was upset with "don't ask, don't tell" not being cancelled as Obama promised. Advancing the radical homosexual agenda is more important than National security.
    PFC Bradley Manning

That's what your basing all this off of? Some blog that refers to a facebook page? Not to mention that anyone can set up some bogus facebook page and put whatever they want on it.

How would a PFC have access to 90,000 classified documents? What does sexuality have to do with any of this? Also, I missed the reasoning of how this dude is even a suspect. Smells really fishy.

A hero for the Hate America First crowd.

I didn't know PFC Manning was a hero of yours. Just kidding. Maybe if his name was Janet Napolitano and he was suppressing websites, instead of exposing the Feds. That just ain't patriotic.

So, what's the latest news on the leaks? Well, it looks like Chavez's economy is imploding. No-one will deal with the company seizing little SOB. Cuba's worried, because Chavez subsidises them and the money's running out. The oil companies are squeezing him and he's not liking it one bit.

WikiLeaks cables: Oil giants squeeze Chavez as Venezuela struggles | World news | guardian.co.uk

Looks like Shell oil is the real ruler in Nigeria. They have their people in most of the top slots while they siphon off all of the oil. This will not end well. Especially, with the Russians coming into that market, too.

Looks like the cables shine some light on a particularly disgusting group of American security contractors who were buying or selling little boys in the 'Stan. Apparently, the Afghan government wanted the embassy to try and cover up this atrocity. Didn't work very well. There's mention that there's a video out there about it.

Comedy. We wage the war on (some) drugs at home and buy heroin and adolescent prostitutes for those "hearts and minds". Guess I shouldn't be too surprised after the US was exposed guarding poppy fields for warlords. :patriot:

Just curious,,,what if we find out we were wrong in what were doing??? Do we have to support America even if were wrong??? Is it more important to be moral or loyal??? Is America supposed to be the winners??? Or the good guys???

This plaque hangs in the Greensburg Court House DEDICATED IN 1822.

Reads: " OUR COUNTRY! IN HER INTERCOURSE WITH FORIGN NATIONS MAY SHE ALWAYS BE RIGHT: BUT OUR COUNTRY, RIGHT OR WRONG."

If only all Americans had this additude.

    PFC Bradley Manning

Reminds me of when the USS Iowa blew up back in the 80's. The military also tried to blame that on a "disgruntled homosexual."

It was bull :poop: then, and it is bull :poop: now.

Well, we all suspected that this is what happened, but the government never confirmed it, (guess they thought we couldn't handle it, or something). Now, with the cable leaks we get confirmation that Israel took out a Syrian nuclear reactor in '07.

I'm gonna go with "or something." You probably have less than 10% of the information related to any given circumstance. How in the world can you justify any conclusion drawn from 90% assumptions?

It wasn't like it was a huge secret, at the time. Just not one the the government would confirm, even though they knew what it was. The press certainly flew with the story, so there's little assumption going on. The government withheld info that everyone "knew". Thanks for adding to the discussion, tho. It was...substantial.
