Anyone have any experience with them? Seems like main difference between the LCP II And the Max is the sights?

    Thoughts

    thanks
    Imprived sights and capacity.
Slightly larger grip, but not by much.
    I love mine.
    Nothing compares to it.
I like it for light summer pocket carry and as a backup gun.
I forget that I have it on me sometimes.
There really is no excuse for not having a gun when they come this small and handy.
The LCP max replaced my LCP2.
I never had an original LCP due to the trigger.
I considered an LCP custom, but the LCP2 came out with a better trigger.

I've got one. Shoots about 6" low at 7 yards, and no, it's not me. My Glock 42 is a far superior .380, but it doesn't have 12+1 capacity and is bigger than the Ruger LCP Max. The Max is good for what it is, a small 13 round, lightweight belly gun for times when you can't carry something more formidable. Point shooting works fine at the distances that this is intended for.
This was my experience as well. Took my LCP Max to the range for the first time today. Shot several varieties of ammo including both steel and brass, 85 gr to 100 gr. No failures out of about 60 rounds or so. However:

    Trigger did pinch a bit
Felt recoil was stronger than my gen 1 LCP with Hogue grip
Groups were mediocre and 6 inches low

This was at 10 yards. If I still had my gen 1 I would seriously consider maintaining that as my pocket carry. I think a Hogue sleeve will improve the grip but it'll just take some training to get used to the pint of aim versus the point of impact.
