I built these sliding barn doors for my new shop where I (try) to make old motorcycles run again. This is a divider wall between heated and un heated space.

Put up shelves for my John Deere tractor collection and my “me” wall display. I have an oak roll top desk to put underneath with my computer, once I get Interweb out there. Truck pics across top are all trucks I have owned or driven. Easy to waste a lot of time in here.

Lift is just a Harbour Freight, couple hundred $$ but well worth it if you work on bikes.

I thought it looked bigger but without the emblems, wasn't sure. We have a few 750's here from the seventies.

If you have a couple of bikes you DEFINITELY need a lift! Saves your back and knees big time, even for cleaning and polishing. I’m using it all the time for all kind of things. Right now I’m transferring my pump and motor from my compressor over to a vertical tank and I have the wheeled compressor on the lift to tear it down.

You do need some room tho, they are like 9 feet long.

The last bench was built using clear Cedar, but since that is out of budget
in today's economy, I went with treated. I figure, it should outlive me, and the
Mrs. loves it. She wants to let it grey naturally, as she likes the look.

The construction utilizes pinned mortise and tenon, along with dado's.

I present the new garden bench.

While not a physical thing (yet), here is a Starbucks I modeled up in Revit for work. It's just a shell building, but still took several weeks to model and annotate.

Here was an example of the Wall Sections, which I'm sure anyone with a construction background would recognize. I think the most wall sections I have done in a project was over 50.

This Sheet List gives you an idea of how much goes into a commercial building. Each sheet is a 24"x36" sheet filled with plans and details, and this is only the Architectural, Structural, and some Civil. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Life Safety, Equipment, Photometric, etc. not included. And even then, this is only for the shell.

This Starbucks is slated to be built in New Palestine, IN.

Took many cad classes in highschool and at ivy tech doing this kind of work to realize I don't like sitting behind a computer that long. It was fine and dandy for school.


My dads father gave me a print he was a part of from years ago. It is about 3 feet tall and 10 or so feet long. It was just one of 3 or 4 for this particular part.
