    Thanks kruiser, its just a CS Trail Hawk. Modified head and handle and the little sheath on it I did myself. Not much of a leather worker but it was pretty simple.

    Those look pretty good. I would like to start learning the art of trap making.

    trap making isn't crazy hard the key is knowing where to put them and catching the critters lol. it's definitely a dying art. I have made and used several successfully but they are few and far between. I would love to find a good trapper and run a line with them for a couple days.

    My brother in law is going to show me the ropes on trapping this year. He uses steel traps. I figure once I get the basics down I can try my hand at more primitive tactics.
