For those in the South Bend area Farr and Sons in Niles does good work. Nice, reliable, old fashioned gun shop. They even have a wood stove to hang out around a little.

Anyone know of a smith that has an oversize S&W k frame bolt. I'd like to tighten the lockup. It isn't real bad, but I'd like to lock up just a bit better.

Gary Growe

Gary Growe is on 46 just west of I-65, near Columbus. I no longer have his phone number and sometimes he just stops taking in work because he's so busy. His shop burned a while back but I just heard yesterday that he's back in business. He has a great reputation.

This one is not in In. but just over the border in Niles Mi. I have not used him in a few years but I believe he is still there. Very good but pricey.
