First Duracoat project too, it was a stainless KIDD Barrel. It is now threaded for a supressor.

i wish i went that route with mine... the hogue stock is not conductive to great accuracy.... the barrel is nice, but wish i would have gone with something more solid... thats a nice Long Range trainer... grouped it yet?

I've only grouped it at 50 yards and it did really well. but it was windy out so I guess I haven't really grouped it yet.

Dont be jelous that i have a USO on mine and you have a super sniper on yours.... I mounted that thing with 2 levels a plum line a collimnator and a 6 pack of beer.... i assure you its perfectly straight after you are done with the sixer!

That would be great....with the double vision you would have 2 scopes, and then you could give it to one of us working class shooters!

no kidding... the barret 82a is on my list of someday guns... just not quite there yet... i have just downsized my collection and upgraded the quality... i am done buying the average stuff and am concentrating on more high ticket items... more modern at least... and more expensive... i bet the 50 is still a blast to shoot though... no PUN intended.

Oh yeah... Some of the coolest things are watching the shockwave behind the bullet follow it downrange. Also, the first time we shot it we didn't think to move the gun cases that were beside it and the pressure from the muzzle break sent those things flying through the air.

    Definately a must have someday.

They work very well.... Help in accuracy for one... You still have the sonic crack downrange but you can fire the gun without ear pro on and still be just fine... also it decreases felt recoil... a .308 with a can feels like a .223 without
