    Lost some flashlights.

Lost a Microstream for about 8 months. One day walked into work and a coworker had one in his pocket. I grabbed it and jokingly said "hey you found my flashlight." He replied that he had seen it rolling around in my old ambulance and put it in his pocket. Told me since it wasn't his, I could have it. I have since lost it again.

I "lost" a range bag at Point Blank Greenwood about a month ago.
Stupid thing evolved into a mobile bag.
10 G19 and 10 Wilson 47d mags, extra prescription glasses, and range tools.
    Stupid thing just walked away.

i lost a knife on a range, got a call from range control a few weeks later informing me a LT. found it and turned it in and that i could come pick it up whenever i was on post. Went to pick it up and had to sit through a good 15-20 minute lecture by a staff sergeant about gear accountability and how if i was a real soldier that would get me killed. Me being the stupid new guy replied "that's why i carry 2 knives sergeant" that's when i learned just to keep my mouth shut. Didn't get yelled at or anything just a stern talkin' to.
