What field? Barrista at Starbucks? Flipping burgers at McDonald's? Seems like that's where the people with these worthless degrees end up, and then they end up bitchin' that they can't afford to pay off their ridiculous student loans.
They go into HR. Or they work for companies that rate ESG scores. Or they work for companies to help them act more woke. Or they go to work for progressive think tanks. Or they teach. Or they become tiktok content creators. Or they get an only-fans and do adult content.

As far back as the mid-80s, I knew a doctor who gave up her practice because of her med school debt load and the costs of malpractice insurance. I also knew a couple of doctors who gave up medicine for jobs in commercial aviation.
Doctors now are employees the hospital that owns the practice and they generally pay the malpractice…

Yeah, you probably missed the sarcasm there, and the words " can actually find a job in the field"

Most doctors, perhaps, but a lot of ER docs are contractors, rather than employees at hospitals. A particular doctor may have "privileges" at several hospitals, which is not, I believe, the same as being an employee.

Gen Z may have learned a thing or two about how bad we made the system. I am a bit surprised by some of these quotes.

There was a 23 percent increase in students studying construction trades in 2023 compared to the year before.

Software company Jobber surveyed 1,000 high school and college-age students in July 2023 and found that 56 percent of respondents believe that 'blue-collar' jobs have more job security than 'white-collar' desk jobs when it comes to AI.”
