Well here is an idea the Crooked Ewe brewery in South Bend has good food, and a private room. The South Bend Homebrew Club meets there on I think the 3rd Sunday of the month. I don't know if they charge for the room or not. The web site only has a private party request page. https://crookedewe.com/ Just an idea.

Politos has a private room in the back that could hold probably 20 people. I’m not much of a pizza guy but I’ll eat just about anything.

Politos - Mishawaka (Pizza/Italian)
Crooked Ewe - South Bend (Brewery)
Portillos - Mishawaka (Hot Dogs, Burgers, and Sandwiches)
Barnaby's - Mishawaka (Pizza/Sandwiches)
Mi Camino Real - Plymouth (Mexican)
Christos - Plymouth (Family Diner)

Obviously, the date might not work for everyone, but it seems that a Friday / Saturday night might work for most.

Wow, how did I forget Barnaby's. The Barnaby's in Osceola has a special "back" room in the basement that can be rented out.

I’ve only been to Barnabys on Grape Rd but I know there is usually plenty of room for larger groups. Food is good too. Saturday lunch sounds like a good idea. I’d be willing to put my vote in for Barnabys for lunch on a Saturday in February.

You can still do the buffet and eat upstairs. Several years ago, I had some friends and family get together there for my birthday. About 20 of us. We sat in a room upstairs. I don't recall if they had a separate buffet upstairs, or if we had to go downstairs for it, but I do know we did the buffet.

Based on the responses to the feeler thread, I have created a poll to determine date and location. I left out Feb 16-17 due to the Valpo gun show and the NWI meet and eat. Saturday could be either lunch or dinner, so please post to this thread with your preference. Poll will close in 2 weeks.
