    Mmmm.....save some for later in the year... slice 'em and simmer with some fried grey squirrel in an iron skillet until tender, make some gravy, home made biscuits, a swig of ice cold buttermilk, and finished with a good nap!

    Since moving to indiana an old timer told me to watch the Red Buds, It seems like a good guide. You got me wondering though, time to go looking. I'll let friends hunt anything with legs but don't touch my shrooms!

    I am not asking for a specific place since I don't want to encroach on someones hunting area. But does anyone know of a good place to look in NWI? I used to hunt them as a kid on my grand parents farm, in southern Indiana.
