Why do you think they released on a friday.. just like the socialist lapdog media does with any story they dont want getting alot of attention... in this case they want as few possible to hear what a big scam and waste of tax dollars it was... by Monday it's old news, that's why its released late on a friday

Dems say they want the full report released. If it isn't they plan to force Mueller to testify in House investigation.
I think that they think there will be something/many things that may not be criminal but are certainly embarassing to Trump before an election. Anybody heard from Stormy lately?

I hope that the law is followed regarding its release.

It is my understanding that if there are no indictments/accusations contained within the report then it must, by law, remain confidential and not released to the public.

It isn't right to release a document that may contain private, sensitive but legal information regarding a person investigated. This is my understanding of the law regarding this.

So say a person is believed to have broken the law and an investigation follows. The investigation will delve very deeply into their personal and financial business. In doing so it may find that there was activity that may be severely embarrassing or questionable, but NOT illegal. As such, the person investigated has a right to keep their confidential business confidential.

As long as the law wasn't broken it is none of our damn business and I hope that if this is the case AG Barr will keep is sealed.

Let the dems rant and gnash their teeth all they want, I believe in this matter the vast majority of SCOTUS would back up Barr. It would be a horrible precedent to do otherwise.

    Regards,

    Doug

I may be overly cynical, but I think Comey probably knew the outcome before the investigation started.

I'm sure the whole "group", up to and including Hillary and certainly other members of the Obama DOJ knew the outcome, since they were in control of orchestrating the whole thing. IMHO of course. Wonder how much Mueller thought he was just going through the motions with regard to Trump himself.

Even if he wasn't read in, he likely knew better than most how little substance there was to that investigation. But it likely helped raise their tally in the house in the midterms

Tucker Carlson brought up a point recently, (maybe last night) that when all these talking heads are wrong nothing happens to them at all. For instance, if I owned a network and you were on my air pontificating every night about collusion and there was none found when it was all over, you would be fired, done, stick a fork in it. Your insight, your contacts, your intuition are not worth *****. Same goes if you were wrong on WMD's in Iraq.

I get Dem pollsters missing the election in 16, but Republican pollsters, give me a break. Politics is worse than the weather, these people chatter constantly and are incessantly wrong yet networks keep them on the air. STOP WATCHING any network that employs people that are consistently wrong. If your reply is they are all wrong, do like me, quit watching them all. Read the people you find to have good insights, even if you disagree with some of them. Seek out people with knowledge and stop supporting the entertaining but wrong.

I think that there is an element of wanting to see the car wreck here. But... You're absolutely right. Keep it sealed.
