Ok, one more addition.

After looking for some ideas on a compensator in this thread ( https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/accessories_and_gear/115912-contemplating_a_compensator.html ) I decided to jump in feet-first and try one out.

Plan is to do some side-by-side testing with this new YHM comp and others. I'll be sure to update when that happens!

There are special tools available but I always use a 3/4 inch box wrench on mine. Should come off fairly easily. Will be somewhat tight.

I sure miss my first AR (built her from stripped) and did a very nice job for a 19 year old kid in his grandmas basement. The one I have now is nicer, but I just miss the original for some reason.

My first AR was a gunshow purchase Rock River, that had some tweaking done from the prior owner. I got a good deal on it from the seller, and the gun ran A-1 and was a pleasure to shoot. Ended having to sell it due to finances. My current beast, is a creation that's about 85% INGO and 15% other buys. I've put it together with the help of Oldcoyotedream on the orginal assembly and 'smith work and upgrade pieces and parts from INGO and other friends. This rifle has been more fun and rewarding.
