The LED 'flame' bulbs I bought for the blow mold pumpkins were too big for the hole in the pumpkin.
And the base mounts to the hole, so I couldn't just drill them out.

So, I cut a piece of plastic as a 'patch'.
That hold is the size I need for the mount.
Then the hole in the pumpkin was cut bigger.
Used short wood screws to attach the patch to the pumpkin.

    Now the pumpkins 'flicker'

    Okay.
Found a better way to put the LED flicker (flame) lights in the blow mold figures (mostly pumpkins)
Used a hole saw big enough to put my fist through the hole, and cut the hole in the BOTTOM of the figure.
Then I just put the light bulb through there, and screwed it into the socket.

Didn't have to deal with making an extra plate.

The only problem is, the hole saw likes to GRAB the figure and spin it.
So it was a bit of work.

But now I've doubled the amount of pumpkins in the display. And they all have the flicker/flame bulbs

Bought these in Menards, and they go right in the lamp holder that comes with the blow mold figures.

Now, I have 2 blow mold ghosts.
Of course, come with a regular bulb.
    Seems kinda boring.

    And then I found this
    1698457546715.png

    This uses a 'medium' base.
So, it won't fit in the base that comes with the ghost.
    So, I bought this
    1698457614491.png

I'm not bothering with the stake, or the base, just left it in the box.
I went to plug the bulb in, but it's too wide to fit in the socket.

    So..

    medium base socket extender.
2 of these, and I can plug the bulb in.

Now, to mount it to the ghost.
It just started pouring, so I stopped.
But I used a hole saw to drill out the hole the original light holder was.
A little bit of electrical tape around the widest part of the bulb, and it should be snug enough to hold itself in the mold.

Since I just added a few things, I didn't feel like filming the entire song.
    Added more pumpkins.
    Added cat and 2 bats.
    Added red shimmering skull
    Added flying ghosts on rooftop.
All pumpkins use LED flicker/flame bulbs.
Ghosts (blow molds) have blue flicker/flame.
My Halloween Light Show in Merrillville 2023 Using Light-O--Rama controller
Programmed for 4 faces, but only using 3 faces
The display has 5 songs total.

Forgot to mention, this didn't work so well, mounting the new light to the hole the old light was in.
So, I took the "stake light" (the socket) and used the flat base, instead of the stake.
Screwed the flat base to a board that I'm using on the ghost to keep it from falling over.
And then the ghost itself, I used a dremel (rotary tool) to cut a hole big enough to fit over the bulb and holder.
Then put the ghost back down on the board, over the light.
