She would have been around my mom's age if my mom was still alive. My condolences for your loss...it's tough, I know. Prayers for God's comfort for you and your family.

    My condolences, Warthog.

My wife's father passed away last Saturday, and while they didn't have a close relationship - it still hurts.

    Best to you.

    I'm sorry to hear this.

It can be a bit of a roller coaster at first as things sink in, but just know as time goes on you transition from sad to bittersweet to thankful for the good times. You'll always miss them, but treasure the good memories.

Thanks guys, I will drive safe and be careful and get there in good health and plenty of time. Same thing for the return trip.

I know many of you have lost your mothers and fathers, I guess I am still processing it. I should be fine amd again, Thank you!

Dad died 20 years ago, the whole processing thing was weird, it just felt surreal at times, like it didn't really happen. I still get sad around that date, but treasure the good times we had. Sorry for your loss.
