This made my day. I love the smell of property values in the morning, it smells like victory.

Next video we need to see him raking and then shaking his head in disapproval at the slothful neighbors.:D

LOL and here I was thinking this thread was filed in the wrong section...

Just (2) weeks ago we got a call from the ER up in Angola... Son was at his week scout camp and got his first cut. Fortunately, it was not from the CRKT I recently bought for him from Brad at the Ft. Wayne show.

Glad to hear Que it wasn't what I suspected... :yesway:

That video was great, and teaching responsibilities to the young one as well.

One of many life lessons that not enough kids are being exposed to.

    Good job Dad!

At first I thought your son cut himself with a knife or something.
Glad to see it was not the case! :)
Cute video and great dad btw. ;)

It seems like eight is the age of his first peak where he wants to be like dad. He really likes to take "his" .22 LR to the range, but he can't stand handguns. He says they are "too loud" and "come up too much." Saturday is Build & Grow Clinic at Lowes and he gets the chance to build a Tow Truck and we shop for his own tool belt. :yesway:

I foundly remember my first time mowing the yard.. and remowing the spots I missed.

I kinda miss the days of easy money mowing yards. $8 from my neighbor for 2 acres was a lot of money when I was a kid. She always paid me with a check, too. :)

    wait a second....that's a self-propelled mower! haha
That's a sight that is waning from the daily eye for sure. I hope he was proud of himself afterward. THAT is what will make him keep it up.

He loved it, but was a little itchy afterwards. Looks like we may have to stock up on Benedryl until he's used to it.

Good deal. Nothing like looking back on a job well done no matter the task. :rockwoot:

I remember when I got to mow the lawn for the first time as a kid. I thought it was just the coolest thing ever! How times change! :D

Congratulations to you and your son, Que. Your little man is growing up. :)
