My Son's First Cut

I have been waiting on this day for eight years. My son finally got his first cut today. I let it grow long, just so I could see a noticeable change, but maybe it was a tad too long.

LOL and here I was thinking this thread was filed in the wrong section...

Just (2) weeks ago we got a call from the ER up in Angola... Son was at his week scout camp and got his first cut. Fortunately, it was not from the CRKT I recently bought for him from Brad at the Ft. Wayne show.

Glad to hear Que it wasn't what I suspected...

It seems like eight is the age of his first peak where he wants to be like dad. He really likes to take "his" .22 LR to the range, but he can't stand handguns. He says they are "too loud" and "come up too much." Saturday is Build & Grow Clinic at Lowes and he gets the chance to build a Tow Truck and we shop for his own tool belt.

I foundly remember my first time mowing the yard.. and remowing the spots I missed.

I kinda miss the days of easy money mowing yards. $8 from my neighbor for 2 acres was a lot of money when I was a kid. She always paid me with a check, too.
