Just another day in libtopia :) the poor lad was just looking for his clothes and fireing shots to get helpers to come look with him :) but in all seriousness this could have been very ugly, the initial call of fireworks rather than gunshots could have led a responding officer in to a ambush. I propose this weekend as INGO teach the neighbors what gunshots sound like weekend. Go out and shoot untill they learn that aint fireworks :)
(Ofcourse follow safe practices and all local laws)

"The man, clad only in a hat and sandals, had been yelling incoherently."

If this was rush week there would have been THOUSANDS of suspects

Something like this going on right near a campus, and they DIDN'T issue a warning? How dumb is that?

I don't think there was time to issue a warning. It seems the event was pretty much over with rather quickly. If IU had issued the warning of a man who was shooting, but everything is currently OK, we would have heard holy hell about how so many people were bothered with a now non event...not to mention folks being waken up at 710AM.

This is an awesome quote. I would like to remind people that there were several rounds flying through a neighborhood and it is being called a nonevent since it was stopped so quickly... Nothing to see here, move along please.
