Just another day in libtopia the poor lad was just looking for his clothes and fireing shots to get helpers to come look with him but in all seriousness this could have been very ugly, the initial call of fireworks rather than gunshots could have led a responding officer in to a ambush. I propose this weekend as INGO teach the neighbors what gunshots sound like weekend. Go out and shoot untill they learn that aint fireworks

Something like this going on right near a campus, and they DIDN'T issue a warning? How dumb is that?

I don't think there was time to issue a warning. It seems the event was pretty much over with rather quickly. If IU had issued the warning of a man who was shooting, but everything is currently OK, we would have heard holy hell about how so many people were bothered with a now non event...not to mention folks being waken up at 710AM.

This is an awesome quote. I would like to remind people that there were several rounds flying through a neighborhood and it is being called a nonevent since it was stopped so quickly... Nothing to see here, move along please.
