Looking at that instrument panel, and how much computer power is being used, it is hard to imagine that the slide rule on my dining room table was used to put men on the moon! One of my father's jobs, which really wasn't a job was designing the part of the Portable Life Support System (PLSS) that would monitor the oxygen consumption of the astronauts on the moon and radio that amount back to mission control so that they could keep an eye on things.

Watched it with the whole family...just like I did in '69 on the way to the moon (though there were new folks present). Why I didn't like Apollo 13 movie...I saw it live.
