22 is a great choice and there are plenty of them on the market because it's the preferred pistol of most PDs.

Well I decided to go look at glocks last night at Bite the Bullet in Seymour. I was looking at the 9mm and .40 and thought I don't have anything in that caliber currently so I looked at the g21 in .45. It was quite a bit bigger, but I talked myself into it. I took it out this morning to shoot, and at 50 yards I can consistently ring the 2" clanger. I am pretty happy. I have a new favorite pistol to shoot.

So I would want a 22 gen 3 in .40? Is a barrel and clip the only parts I need to go 9mm?

I love my G22, great gun, and you can usually find police trade ins for around 400 if you dont mind having one.

Bass Pro has had them in the past, or Blythes has had them also.
