Magpul furniture (non pistol grip) and replace the plastic thumb safety.
This is fact. I did my M500 with magpul standard stock(like the pic a few threads up)and really like it. I had the Knox Stock with pistol handle and position option(M4 style)and actually painted it Desert sand tan with camo blotches. I had a rail front stock, also painted same, and a heat shield matching colors. I used a stencil from a Tiger camo kit and for couple years had it on the gun.
Yes the Knox is really nice, but gun still had recoil. Yes it made my wrist hurt shooting deer slugs. Glad the Magpul fit perfect, and lowered the axis during firing ammo through it.
Both stocks were way ahead of the stock birch color plastic stock on factory gun.
    Good luck.

Moss mods that have been a staple for me.
I have the SGA stock on there, had it on for about a year now but I almost prefer the 590A1 stock.

My must go to mods are the safety switch mod and the magpul forward sling adapter.
