New info on $300 NRA lifetime membership

I asked the lady I spoke with. She said that when my current annual membership expires (2015), that it would convert to the lifetime status. She did state that I would receive a snail mail letter regarding today's transaction.

Just completed a 4 minute call and came away with a lifetime membership!

Money had been earmarked for a new 1911 to go along with the new lifetime LTCH, but I figure it is better spent to help support the reason I am able to purchase the firearm in the first place.

I called my brother with this information. He owns several guns and is up on things politically and votes. Until today he has never been a NRA member, but now he is a lifetime member.

Called yesterday. First lady told me I couldn't get the "Weekender" bag with this offer. For some reason the line got disconnected before I gave my credit card number. When I called back, I got a different lady and I started from scratch. I asked about the bag and she said she would be happy to include that with the deal. Makes a difference who you talk to. I would have done it either way but I like to get the bags with he NRA logo when I can.
