So has there been some wave of shootings by people using "ghost guns"? Shouldn't there be some discussion and debate as to whether there is actually a problem before passing legislation to "fix" it? The definition of feel good legislation..... the children we employ to deprive us of liberty.

Of course not. But there could be! :runaway: Rifles in general are used in very few shootings, but that doesn't stop the antis from thinking we "need" to ban or heavily regulate them, especially those scary fully semi-auto rifles!

... Shouldn't there be some discussion and debate as to whether there is actually a problem before passing legislation to "fix" it?.. .

Why? It doesn't matter. It isn't REALLY the reason anyway (neither is "crime," "safety," "the children," whatever).

It's just plausible political cover (for the masses) to implement more control.

The fact that there is no connection/discussion/debate proves the point.

Otherwise, there WOULD be some discussion and debate as to cause/effect, etc.

    Yes!
I've seen them used more and more lately. In fact just the other night some bad guy tried to shoot a diplomat but they caught him just in time.

    I love watching TV. :):

True. Maybe New Jersey should ban people even THINKING about guns. Totally ridiculous and unenforecable. That'll show those peasants!

Okay, maybe these laws wouldn't have stopped any of the recent shootings, but we have to do something...

NO, don't do that. When lefties flee these failed states they seem to continue to support the same policies, just sort of a light version of them.

Just remember for all the people who think a gun roundup will never happen in this country and that LEO's will never obey such a unconstitutional order, well theyve been rounding up guns in other states and new jersey now and obviously have no problem with their tyranitcal marching orders. Theres always some that will gladly take the place of any who refuse. The cops who refuse are Patriots. The cops who come for someones guns are tyrants and enemies of the people.

So with your opinion one should stay and fight the fight while living in an oppressed state?

Isn't that what a lot of us say about our neighbors to the south (and other places) that want to jump our border for "a better life"? Stay in your own country and fix things there? Don't turn our country into your third world ****-hole? ;)

I think people should deffinately fight rather than surrender. For evil to prevail all its takes is for good men to do nothing. I am damn firm on the 2nd amendment. There is no room for compromise. Government does not have the authority to take away your guns so any action to do so is unjust. They can say they have a court order or a warrant or whatever they want but it's illegal. The government never has the authority to grand nor take away your gun rights so any action is unconstitutional. People have to make their own stand and determine how far they want to go. No one can make that choice for you

When you consider the level of corruption at all levels of jersey leadership, it's easy to see why they enforce ideological laws, doesn't cost them any money.

Funny how when you bring up deaths by cars, and we should ban them and "do something" that people respond "THAT'S DIFFERENT".
Yes. It is. Because people are happy to affect things that they don't care about. But get squirrelly when it does.
