Is it common for lawyers to jump on speaker phone to do a roadside conference call with police? That part struck me as rather odd.

Read about this today on the The Blaze and was somewhat distrubed. Then the fact that the DYFS lady would not identify herself was even more disturbing and the fact the police didnt make her was even worse.

Hopefully they let this drop and nothing comes of it.

The MSM account of course presents the usual conspicuous problems without addressing them as such. We don't go looking for these things (right. sure thing.), If someone reports child abuse, we HAVE to follow up on it (no room for evaluating the credibility?), and my favorite, of course no action can be taken for people who make false reports (sort of like SWATting with no potential for being charged for false reporting).

Nope. Never. All reports are treated as credible and legit. It is the investigation that will determine the validity of the report, after all.

Of course, no mention of the fact that all investigations start from the "guilty" verdict and continue until they get the children.
