Another thumbs up for the Crossbreed Supertuck IWB.

The big flat piece of leather between you and the gun really makes it comfortable.

Also +1 on getting a good sturdy belt. I have a 5.11 leather belt that while the finish got messed up pretty fast, I got it on clearance for ~$4 at LAPG. Once broken in, the finish remains the same and its current condition is fine with me. For the price, it is a really nice sturdy belt.

I am not a huge fan of pocket carry, but I do keep an LCP in my coat pocket in the winter since it is difficult to get to my primary gun.

As others have said, play around and find what works for you. The most important thing is you make it a habit of having it 100% of the time it is legal to have. You should always have a knife, flashlight, gun, and extra mag. Next, go take a good defensive pistol class. The Boone Co. sheriff offers a really inexpensive one that is awesome (2 days $175).
