New To shooting

Lance, welcome to INGO. I'm not sure what side of town you live on, but many of us go to Marion County Fish & Game (MCF&G, MCFG - Indy Range Office Website - Shotgun, Pistol, Shooting Range). You can look into one of the indoor ranges in the city, but I do not care for either of them.

I live on the north side of indy, not too far from MCF&G, iill definitely be going there soon!

I try to hit the range at least every other weekend. Start to have withdrawels if I go too long without some trigger time!

Congrats and let the addiction begin. Seriously, I think you're already heading down the right path. Learning your gun will be of upmost importance and range time is the only real way to do that. Not sure exactly where you live (N side is still somewhat general) but I'm 15min N/E of 465 and have access to plenty of ground to shoot on (+300yd range) locally. If you're interested, let me know and we can work on some shooting in the upcomming months. I generally shoot at minimum of once every other week, sometimes every week. Again, congrats on your first gun.
