The Pentagon Mouthpiece is now a 2-Star. Again I'm always suspicious of anyone in the USAF above the rank of Colonel with no pilot wings or commander's badge.

Self-defense strike? Not sure I've heard it phrased that way before.

The reporters for the story seem to have no problem finding large gatherings of fighters, with weapons, protesting. Seems like that would be what I was aiming at if i was planning a strike.

I don’t question the validity of the story but they chose an old picture to display. The current USS Puller is a special operations platform and not an old Oliver Hazard Perry frigate.
