Obviously they are not doing it right.

The problem is, they are already living in the stone age, just with the ability to be supplied by a terrorist state with dangerous weapons. The only real way to fix the problem involves 10s of thousands of degrees at ground zero and at least a moderate amount of molten glass. Frankly they are not worth it, to us.
