Newbie from Fishers

Hi there,

I am new to guns and gun ownership. I am interested in handguns. I am in the process of looking for a .22lr to learn to shoot with. I am very competitive by nature and would not be surprised if I become interested in some sort of sport shooting like USPSA or IDPA, something like that.

Well thats about it. Hope to learn a lot on here.

Check out the Ruger 22/45 Mark lll pistols. Decent for the money.

Also, for competitions, look into MCF&G and Atlanta CC [atlantacc.net], both offer nice "outdoor" shooting events.

I like the Steel Challange events, perfect for the 22L calibers.
