Keeps stinky solvents from getting all over. Perfect for when using a spray can of solvent. Outer threads are 13/16-16 for most oil filters including the Chevy 350 filter. The one shown is a Napa 37202.

hope than man likes getting raped in prison..

I notice they don't show the oil filter screwed on the adapter while it is on the firearm.

No need to report anyone, it isn't a large capacity feeding device... :)

Its not an NFA item until you put an oil filter on it, get it engraved and do the paperwork.

Im tempted to buy one, but despite what I just said, it kind of scares me.

Edit: Note that it doesnt thread onto the end of the barrel, I doubt it would stay put.

Even As uneducated in firearms and mechanics as my neighbors are, they would think I'd lost my mind if the saw me shooting a gun with an oil filter hanging off the end of the Barrel :n00b:

    ^^^^^^^

what he said.. Their are all kinds of adapters on the net to fit both threaded barrels, and non-threaded barrels. It's not a NFA (tax stamp) item until you put a (working) suppressor on it. I say "working" cause there are 100's of web sight that sale fake suppressors to make your gun look cool, but don't do a darn thing. All legal..

That adapter is no more illegal than a threaded barrel. If the purchaser actually goes through with threading a filter on and shooting then yeah.
