Has anyone ever gave you nicknames in the workplace. I was given a nickname crazycrown in the last place I worked. When I tried it after one was given to me, the person ran in the office and told on me. I was pulled into the office and given a good talking to.:dunno:

That would immediately earn them a new nickname where I work. ;)

ETA: Oh yeah, sometimes they call me "Blister" at work.

Not sure why :dunno: ...but I assume it is meant to convey appreciation and respect for all I do. :)

I've been called shorty, Mac Douger, Dougie, Dougie Fresh, Bart, Homer, Sarge Yard Nazi and Ralphie. I've had nicknames all my life everywhere I have gone. I pretty much answer to anything.

We have a guy at work with, I think 33 nicknames. I had a list a few months ago with all of them. His name is Ed, there are lots of good ones that fit him quite well, and he laughs about most of them. My favorite of his nicks is Braind-ED.

I'm sure no one will appreciate this, but I used to be referred to as "The Traffic Nazi." I have been referred to as "Flat-top" and "Spike" by arrestees because of my hairstyle. All of the other nicknames I have been given aren't fit to post on this family-oriented website.

At my old job I was called "Slim" by most of my co-workers. My dad has been called "Fly" since before I was born because he zips around the factory doing his work, or possibly because he is a nuisance.:):

My nickname at work is my last name plus an extra letter so it appears to other people that do not know my last name as if I have a problem with my bowels. Doesn't bother me much, I have been called that since I was in middle school.

My nickname at work is 2/8's. It was given to me after I was taking a measurement and after subtracting I forgot to reduce my fraction to 1/4. Opps. It's not the kind of name a millwright really wants, but I have accepted it.
